Affordable Housing
We are facing an affordable housing crisis. We need to make city owned property lists transparent and easy to access, and sell them to builders who agree to build affordable housing. We need to work with the zoning department and find solutions to allow underutilized zones to add a percentage of affordable housing when renovated or sold. We need to look into current vacant city buildings and investigate turning them into multi-use properties which include affordable housing.
Bringing Unity to Council
Unity and an open door policy are essential to a successful city council. We will work with other council members to unite and lead our city together, rather than apart.
Broadening Non-Profit Support
The organizations in our community committed to helping others need more support and funding. From diapers to elder healthcare, everyone in our community deserves access to services.
