Torrie has worked tirelessly over the past decade to eradicate the tax on diapers. Through a statewide initiative with Florida Essential Needs Coalition, the National Diaper Bank Network, Baby2Baby and Representative Anna Eskamani and Senator Lauren Book, the tax on diapers was officially removed in the State of Florida in 2023.

Babycycle Diaper Bank, which Torrie founded in 2012 and runs serves 29 non-profit agencies in Pinellas County and serves over 250,000 children and families in need per year.
